By using Around Madison (the website, business portal, Ask AroundMadison, and related tools), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Around Madison provides local discovery information for Madison, Indiana and nearby communities.

Informational use

Content is provided for general informational purposes. Business hours, event details, prices, availability, and offers can change without notice. Always confirm directly with the venue or business before you visit or purchase.

Accounts & acceptable use

You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not attempt unauthorized access, scrape the site in a way that degrades service, submit spam or fraudulent claims, upload content you do not have rights to, or interfere with other users. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

Business listings & claims

Claiming a business requires that you are an authorized owner or manager. You agree that listing information you submit is accurate and that you have rights to any photos or media you upload. We may verify, reject, revoke, or reverse claims when ownership is unclear or contested. Public listings may include both organic and clearly labeled sponsored placements.

Leads, reviews & user content

Service leads and trip requests must include truthful contact details and require consent before submission. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences; they start pending moderation and may be published, rejected, or hidden. You grant Around Madison a non-exclusive license to host and display content you submit for operating the service.

Ask AroundMadison

AI answers are generated from available Around Madison data and may be incomplete or incorrect. They are not professional, legal, medical, or travel guarantees. Use your own judgment and verify critical details with local sources.

Paid plans & sponsorships

Subscriptions and sponsor placements are billed through Stripe subject to the selected plan terms. Paid placement never rewrites the organic Around Madison Score. Sponsored results are disclosed. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a written agreement.

Intellectual property

Around Madison branding, site design, editorial guides, and curated collections are owned by Around Madison or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute site content for commercial reuse without permission, except for ordinary personal browsing and fair use.

Disclaimers & limitation

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Around Madison is not liable for decisions made based on directory, event, deal, or AI content, or for third-party websites linked from listings. Our aggregate liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of fees you paid to us in the prior twelve months or one hundred U.S. dollars, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date on this page.
